I’m Malika — a photographer, fellow mum, professional baby cuddler and occasional sleep whisperer, based at my studio near Harrogate in North Yorkshire.
I love the little moments that make family life yours — the anticipation of meeting your baby, tiny newborn details, growing personalities, and the laughter and connection that happens when you’re simply together.
My approach is warm, relaxed and unhurried. You don’t need to know how to pose or worry about getting everything just right. I’ll gently guide you when needed, take care of the details, and give you the space to enjoy being together while I create photographs that feel natural, elegant and unmistakably you.
My private studio has been thoughtfully created with families in mind — a calm, beautiful space where you can get comfortable, take your time and feel completely at ease from the moment you arrive.
Because beautiful photographs matter, but so does the experience of creating them.
My natural-light photography studio is nestled in the heart of North Yorkshire, perfectly positioned between Leeds, York, and Harrogate.
The Studio
Malika is an absolute perfectionist. We used her for our newborn photo shoot, and again for milestone & birthday session. The photos are simply stunning and timeless. She was patient, kind and her studio is so welcoming. We will be back!
